In February 2021, GMEINDER LOKOMOTIVEN GmbH delivered two 4-axle shunting locomotives to Sweden. The two locomotives with a total weight of 88 tons and an output of 950 kW each, are equipped with a diesel-hydraulic drive system and will be used for heavy shunting operations at two locations of the BillerudKorsnäs Group.
The approval for shunting operations in Sweden has already been granted, so that the locomotives can go directly into their use after extensive training and instruction of the operators.
With the opening in September 2020 of the "Office Scandinavia/Norden" of the ZAGRO Group based in Sweden, our customers are optimally supported on site - as is currently the case with BillerudKorsnäs. This global group offers innovative and sustainable packaging materials and solutions.
