Some moments say more than any statistics.
Recently, GMEINDER LOKOMOTIVEN welcomed a very special group of visitors to a private plant tour in Mosbach:
Twelve former apprentices who began their training with us in 1975 met – after 50 years – for a big reunion at their old training company.
This special meeting was organised by Mr Fiederer, who took the initiative with great passion: ‘On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the start of our training, we thought it would be interesting and nice to see what has happened at our training company over the past half-century.’
No sooner said than done – and so the former colleagues came together again to walk through the factory halls where their professional journey once began.
With obvious enthusiasm, they discovered how the company – then known as Gmeinder Lokomotiven, Planierraupen und Getriebe – had developed over the decades.
Over snacks and drinks, there was hearty laughter, reminiscing and shop talk – about old machines, former trainers and many shared experiences.
It was immediately apparent that this was more than just a workplace – it was a piece of life history.
Special appreciation goes to Mr P. Hörner (far left in the picture): he remained loyal to GMEINDER until his retirement – throughout his entire working life.
Encounters like this are rare and valuable. They show that tradition, solidarity and loyalty are not just words at GMEINDER LOKOMOTIVEN, but are lived out every day.
The GMEINDER team would like to thank everyone involved for this visit – it was a great pleasure to have you back with us after so many years!
