International collaboration, precision engineering and efficient production logistics: a battery-powered ZAGRO E-MAXI XL 20t electric shunting vehicle has been successfully commissioned for the mineral water producer IDS BORJOMI GEORGIA.
Our sales partner ETS Ltd from Tbilisi, Georgia, organised the on-site training and induction. The vehicle will be used directly in production and will carry out key shunting tasks. Empty freight wagons are prepared for loading and the wagons loaded with glass and plastic bottles are then moved safely onto sidings.
Designed for the 1520 mm broad gauge, the ZAGRO E-MAXI XL 20t integrates perfectly into the existing infrastructure. With a maximum towing capacity of 1000 tonnes, the vehicle offers sufficient power reserves for day-to-day operations.
The combination of an electric drive, stepless control and patented all-wheel steering with a 130-degree steering angle enables a high degree of manoeuvrability, even in confined spaces within production facilities. Operation is convenient and safe via a radio remote control.
Additional functions, such as the integrated trolley braking system for loads of up to 1,500 tonnes, as well as comprehensive safety features, ensure reliable operation.
IDS BORJOMI GEORGIA is part of the international IDS BORJOMI Group and is one of the leading producers of mineral water in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. For decades, the Borjomi brand has stood for high-quality natural mineral water and is well established in numerous international markets. The demands placed on reliable and efficient internal logistics are correspondingly high.
By using the ZAGRO E-MAXI XL 20t , the company is opting for a modern and zero-emission shunting solution.
