ZWEIWEG has equipped two Mercedes-Benz G-Classes with rail guiding systems for the rail gauges of 1,435 mm. The vehicles can be used on railway at speeds of up to 50 km/h. For the extensive test runs, all operating conditions were simulated with a temporarily installed water barrel. The Mercedes-Benz G-Class has a permissible total weight of 4,500 kg and can be provided with a wide variety of bodies.
