In 2015 ZAGRO supplied the Hi-Rail Maintenance Unimog U 400 with crane to Siemens for operation at the new depot of Metro Gurgaon near New Delhi in India.
The particularity is that the Metro in Gurgaon passes through the city on a viaduct of 15 meters height. The time has now come: in May 2017, we have lifted the maintenance vehicle onto the viaduct and put it into operation.
For this purpose we mounted specific flanges to the Unimog rims and used a heavy-duty crane. In a spectacular action during the night, a 15 strong team lifted the Unimog onto the viaduct, and it could make its first voyage on rails to the new metro depot.
