Three new ZAGRO road/rail vehicles Unimog have been set into service at DB FuhrparkService GmbH. These vehicles, equipped with ZAGRO road/rail technology, wagon brake system of 400 tons capacity and Palfinger loading crane operated with a work basket, have been approved for shunting service as per §32 EBO.
From this pilot project, Deutsche Bahn AG expect more flexibility for the railway maintenance on the entire rail network DB Netz AG.
