Event review: ZAGRO Dealer Day 2017

The ZAGRO Dealer Day took place on 21st and 22nd September 2017 at the company headquarter in Grombach and the premises of the group partner GMEINDER LOKOMOTIVEN in Mosbach.

Around 40 representatives coming from 23 countries around the world had followed our invitation to take advantage of the opportunity to see the latest developments at ZAGRO, meet business partners and make new contacts.

Several interesting presentations about the road rail technology gave reason to lively discussions. Our experts explained the different types of rail guidance equipment, showed the advantages of the ZAGRO E-MAXI and answered the technical questions of the visitors. As an example, it was clarified how the tractive capacity of a shunting vehicle is to be calculated and why the service weight of the vehicle is reduced during rail operation. The technical circumstances were visualized to the audience during a practical traction test with the ZAGRO E-MAXI L.

In the new ZAGRO Training Centre, many projects were presented, showing the road rail Unimog applications as a shunting, construction, repair and maintenance vehicle, or as a rescue car with re-railing equipment. Guest speeches about use of the road rail vehicles Unimog, TERBERG/ZAGRO Truck and ZAGRO E-MAXI in South America, Finland, Russia and Taiwan enlived the tightly packed event program. In the afternoon, the participants enjoyed the practical demonstrations on rails and off-road rides on the test site. The barbecue provided the opportunity to sit together and talk in a relaxed atmosphere.

On the second event day, the products of the ZAGRO Group partner GMEINDER LOKOMOTIVEN GmbH and ZWEIWEG International GmbH & Co. KG were presented in Mosbach. The spectacular launch of the new battery-driven vehicle ZAGRO E-MAXI VARIO could enthuse the audience. The visitors were informed about the three variants of this new shunting equipment.

The ZAGRO Dealer Day was a great success. We used the time to strengthen our network, develop the relations between our business partners and discover the potential of our common development. The sense of community is the strongest force in today’s business world, because it motivates to co-operate and move in the same direction – this was our positive conclusion of the Dealer Day.
