The ZAGRO E-MAXI XL battery-driven rail vehicle mover was approved as per § 32 German Railway Construction and Operations Act (EBO) and can therefore be used for shunting work in depots with EBO approval. Accordingly, the heavy shunting vehicle with a trailer load of up to 800 tons meets the railway technical requirements and has passed the time-consuming and complex acceptance procedure.
The 15.5 tons heavy vehicle is equipped with a wagon brake system for 800 tons trailing load and a radio remote control to ensure safe and quickly maneuvering. On the vehicle, a standing place is available for the operator. A buffer system with UIC hook serves for the coupling operation.
