Together with the fire fighting vehicle manufacturer Rosenbauer International we have developed two fire fighting vehicles based on a Scania P360 for the Hong Kong Fire Services Department. The vehicles are used for tunnel rescue between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Both 3-axle road/rail vehicles are made for the standard gauge 1,435 mm with a single axle in the front and a bogie in the rear. Special feature is the rail axis which is positioned in front of the driver’s cab. In addition, the vehicles are equipped with a rerailing and rear view surveillance camera.
