A road/rail vehicle based on a Mercedes-Benz Antos 1843 with a large cabin for 1435 mm track gauge has been delivered to DVV, Duisburger Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft. The 2-axle road/rail vehicle has a rail drive system type “Lore” with two driven and braked axles. The vehicle is used on BOStrab railway network for inspection and maintenance works on overhead lines. It is also possible to change the position with extended aerial platform. Thereby the road/rail vehicle can be operated both from the driver’s cab and the working platform.
