We, ZAGRO Bahn- und Baumaschinen GmbH, as the road/rail vehicle specialist manufacturer and Mercedes-Benz Unimog ExpertPartner, herewith announce the acquisition of all assets, designs and properties of the former LH Access, the UK based manufacturer of elevated road/rail platforms and mobile lifts.
With our long history of innovation and product development in the rail vehicle sector, we produce a large range of rail and road/rail vehicles from small and mid-sized road/rail shunters to full sized rail-bound shunter trains. Our strength comes from the selection of diesel, electric and hybrid power technologies from within our ZAGRO Group that includes ZAGRO, ZWEIWEG and GMEINDER LOKOMOTIVEN.
We plan to develop, improve, and expand the availability of our products and include the current range of Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) and Scissor Lift designs with a strong emphasis on performance and quality.
Continued supply of working platforms in the UK will be through our UK based importer South Cave Tractors Ltd who has recently celebrated its 50th year as a Mercedes-Benz Unimog supplier and already has a strong record in the road/rail sector.
South Cave Tractors will be from February 2022 hosting a new website dedicated to ZAGRO Rail products and will operate under the name SCT-RAIL.
