The service companies "Resentra GMBH situated in Maxdorf and New Technology BTP situated in Soultzeren (France) rental of suction excavators and production of liquid soil" have received a new road/rail suction excavator. This powerful vehicle is based on a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3345 6x4 with an ESE 6 RD 6000 suction body from RSP GmbH in Saalfeld/Thuringia. The hydrostatically driven rail drive device for the rail gauge 1,435 mm is a development from ZWEIWEG and has rail axles with a particularly high load capacity for speeds of up to 25 km/h. The suction body has a useable volume of 6 m³ and enables more efficient use on rail on a gradient of up to 40‰ and in curves with a radius of more than 80 m.
