Georgian Railways has been using a ZAGRO E-MAXI XL at its Batumi site since 2015. Several years of positive experience with the ZAGRO E-MAXI XL shunting machine led to the procurement of two additional devices for the Tbilisi and Kutaisi sites. The use of two new ZAGRO E-MAXI XL enables Georgian Railways not only to transfer two 120-ton shunting locomotives to other locations with higher freight volumes, but also to save enormous maintenance and maintenance costs of the diesel locomotives.
The management of Georgian Railways on behalf of the Freight Transportation Director especially thanked the ZAGRO team for the early delivery of the goods, because since the beginning of 2022, Georgian Railways has been confronted with delivery delays or delivery stops by many suppliers and therefore attaches great importance not only to the technical advantages of ZAGRO products, but also to the excellent delivery reliability of ZAGRO Bahn- und Baumaschinen GmbH.
