This year’s special exhibition “From road to rails – The Unimog in road/rail operation“of the Unimog-Museum in Gaggenau is all about the “Unimog on rails“. With this show, the museum follows up on yet another chapter of the all-rounder’s success story. Various generations of road/rail Unimogs are being exhibited: from a special purpose vehicle based on a U 416 with a steering rear axle for operation on narrow track gauge up to ZAGRO road/rail vehicles of the latest generation.
As a particular highlight, 80 meters of tracks had been laid in the museum’s outside area to demonstrate Unimogs of different model series in road/rail operation. This is part of the complementary program that will accompany the exhibition throughout the summer.
The special exhibition will be on show at the Unimog-Museum in Gaggenau (Germany) until 11th October 2015.
