Stadtwerke Augsburg have received reinforcements. ZWEIWEG has supplied another rail cleaner for the 1,000 mm track gauge for the use in the Augsburg tram network. The new vehicle is equipped with a FAUN suction body and is mainly used for point maintenance. As always, ZWEIWEG also uses the Silent Plus noise insulation package, so that the vehicle can be operated as silently as possible. For precise and comfortable work, the cleaner is equipped with a hydrostatic drive. This travel drive can be continuously controlled from a speed of 0 km/h. This makes the vehicle ideal for very slow driving with full suction power. The vehicle was completed by installing a rail lubrication system.
