Innovative rescue vehicle by ZAGRO

The Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Indonesia employs a Unimog U 423 modified by ZAGRO as a rescue vehicle for its Skytrain route. The route extends approximately 3 km and serves automated passenger transportation between various terminals and the SHIA station. Notably, the Skytrain route utilizes trains that operate on rubber tires and are guided by a lateral rail.

ZAGRO has transformed a Unimog U 423 into a high-performance rescue vehicle for the Kalayang depot. Technical features include guide rails mounted on both sides of the vehicle as well as an additional rear axle steering. This Unimog is used for all emergencies on the Skytrain route. The air-conditioned double cab accommodates up to four people and provides ample storage space.

The Unimog is equipped with automatic coupling rods at both the front and rear. The well-designed lighting and safety concept include searchlights, chassis and ambient lighting, as well as several camera systems on the rail chassis and the rear of the vehicle.
