ZWEIWEG has delivered a catenary maintenance vehicle based on a MAN TGM 18.320 to DSW21, Dortmunder Stadtwerke AG. The road/rail vehicle is designed for the standard track gauge 1435 mm. The vehicle is used on BOStrab rail networks for inspection and maintenance on the overhead line. The vehicle has a double cabin that offers comfortable seating for up to six people. The 2-axle vehicle has a swingarm swinging arm chassis with two hydrostatically driven and braked axles. The HUBMEISTER aerial platform HM 16 TKI has a lateral reach of approx. 9 m and can be extended to a working height of approx. 16 m. The aerial work platform can be used both on the road and on rails and is tested and approved in accordance with DIN EN 280. The overhead maintenance vehicle also has a large storage box and a divided loading area with folding side walls, so that extensive tools and materials can be carried. The aerial platform does not need to be lowered during change in position. The road/rail vehicle can be operated from both the driver's cabin and from the aerial platform.
