Donation of restored U 1600 to the Unimog Museum in Gaggenau

The Unimog Museum located in Gaggenau is well known countrywide and has recorded rising visitor numbers for years. This is why an extension building is planned for 2016.

On 3rd June 2016, an additional exhibit was handed over to the Museum: the Unimog U 1600 which had proven its reliable service in many years of operation at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Sindelfingen.

In the workshop of ZAGRO Bahn- und Baumaschinen GmbH, the vehicle had been lovingly restored and given a second life.

The road rail Unimog will now be operated to move the railcars on the 50 meter long track section in the museum area, to the pleasure of the visitors.
